It's not just every celebrity that can get veteran TV host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel excited, but apparently Toronto Mayor Rob Ford qualifies as a very interesting character. Jimmy Kimmel spoke about the anticipation about having Ford on the show.

As soon as he uttered the name of the controversial mayor, none other than Rob Ford himself made an appearance on the show by walking through the guest doors. Dressed in a tuxedo, the mayor seemed confused about being on the set which is located just across the street from the Dolby Theater where the 86th Annual Academy Awards were held.

“Oh, sorry Jimmy,” Ford managed to say before waving to the audience and then promptly heading out the same way he came in. Later, when special guest Kevin Spacey made his way to the couch, he joked that he shared his dressing room with Ford who “threw up over it.”

Jimmy expressed his eagerness to have Ford on the show when he said “I've never been more excited about a guest than I am for this one.” He also presented a segment on Saturday evening in which he appeared as a chauffeur at LAX, ready to pick Rob Ford at the airport.
