MeLLmo has released RoamBi, a free application for iPhone and iPod touch. Available immediately from the App Store, RoamBi for iPhone enables users to transform static information, such as spreadsheets, tables and reports from business applications, into interactive visualizations that can be instantly published directly to the iPhone.

Using RoamBi, iPhone owners will be able to view, analyze, interact with and share their information in a more human manner. RoamBi Views are dynamic user interface templates formatted specifically for the iPhone. Those include: SuperList, for publishing tabular data; CataList, for publishing information in a catalog format; Cardex, for publishing content in a file cabinet format; PieView, for publishing content in a pie chart format.

“Until now, accessing information on a mobile device meant looking at inefficient, clunky, shrunken-down versions of a desktop experience,” Santiago Becerra, chairman and co-founder of MeLLmo, Inc., maker of RoamBi, said. “With RoamBi, we have introduced an entirely new format that unlocks the true value of accessing content on mobile devices and empowers users to publish dynamic and interactive information directly to their iPhones.”

“The combination of CRM and interactive business data reporting in the cloud is a powerful catalyst for driving performance and for empowering sales teams to meet their quotas,” Steve Lucas, senior vice president of Force.com marketing and ISV recruitment, added. “RoamBi makes this combination even more potent by bringing it to mobile devices and by enabling our customers to extend their investment in Salesforce CRM by integrating with RoamBi for the iPhone.”

According to the official MeLLmo report, individuals can begin to publish customized information to their iPhones by downloading RoamBi from the App Store, visiting this page and ultimately selecting a RoamBi View and publishing the information to an iPhone. The free online RoamBi Publisher is available at www.roambi.com. MeLLmo assures interested parties that a premium SaaS-based offering with additional functionality will be available later this year.
