DataViz, a well-known provider of mobile office compatibility solutions, recently announced the immediate availability of the latest version of its Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync client, RoadSync 4.0. This version is the first Exchange ActiveSync solution to richly display HTML formatted e-mails on all S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 and Feature Pack 2 mobile devices based on Symbian OS. In addition to HTML e-mail, new features include tasks and contact photo synchronization, pop-up notifications for new e-mails and keypad shortcuts for the most common messaging functions.

RoadSync 4.0 not only adds significant new functionality, it increases usability by improving its existing support for mailbox subfolders, font zooming, installation set-up and Internet access point handling. DataViz is the first independent software vendor to license the Exchange ActiveSync protocol directly from Microsoft. RoadSync uses this technology to provide secure, wireless and direct push synchronization of e-mail, calendar, contacts, tasks and attachments with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2007 on non Microsoft devices.

RoadSync Version 4.0 for S60 on Symbian OS is a 'Symbian Signed' application and supports all S60 3rd Edition devices from Samsung, LG and Nokia. Pricing starts at $49.99 USD per user with volume discounts available. RoadSync can be purchased directly from DataViz immediately and through the network of DataViz resellers and distributors worldwide.

Upgrade pricing of $29.99 USD is available directly from DataViz for all previous RoadSync versions for S60 on Symbian OS. Customers who received RoadSync on select Samsung or LG mobile devices are entitled to upgrade pricing. RoadSync v4.0 is available in English with localized versions becoming available in a few weeks.
