Turn 10 and Microsoft have announced that they are launching a new piece of downloadable content for the Forza Motorsport 3 racing simulation. Called the Road & Track Car Pack, the content is made up of ten fresh cars that suit a wide variety of playing styles and add both style and power to the already bustling garage of Forza Motorsport 3.

Those who pick up the DLC need to access the Xbox Live Marketplace and pay up 400 Microsoft Points, which is the equivalent of 5 dollars in the real world.

Players who get the new Road & Track Car Pack will be able to race using the 2010 Volkswagen Golf R; 2009 Holden HSV w427; 2010 Ford Taurus SHO; 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG; 2010 Renault Megane RS 250; 2010 Vauxhall Insignia VXR; 2010 Mini Coupé Concept; 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports; 2010 Mazda MX-5 Superlight and the 2010 SEAT Leon Cupra R. Detailed descriptions for all the cars are offered on the official web site of the Road & Track magazine.

Turn 10 is also giving away the 2010 Mini Coupé Concept as the free download car of the month in order to show gamers what they can get as part of the new DLC. The car is very agile, with its small dimensions and its perfect weight distribution making it a tough rival to overtake.

Turn 10 has put out quite a bit of DLC for Forza Motorsport 3, bringing in cars like Hyundai Genesis Coupe, Shelby GLHS, Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, DeLorean DMC-12 and many others. It received glowing reviews when it first launched and managed to get quite a few end-of-the-year awards. It will probably continue to be the most intriguing racing title on the market until Sony finally decides to actually launch the much waited Gran Turismo 5, which could happen this fall.
