38 Studios liquidation auction held earlier this week has unfortunately found no buyer for the company’s work-in-progress massively multiplayer online role-playing game Project Copernicus or the sequel for the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning title.

38 Studios also auctioned their social media platform, Helios, Big Huge Games Engine and IP rights for Catan, to no avail.

Successfully auctioned lots were the Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends games and associated intellectual property, and the Big Huge Games trademark.

The auctioned grossed an aggregate of $320K / €233K, which is small change comparing to the $100 / €73 million debt Rhode Island faces as a result of 38 Studios' bankruptcy.

The state of Rhode Island’s attorney proclaimed that the state will continue its efforts to liquidate the remaining assets, as reported by GameSpot.

After the company went bankrupt in the summer of 2012, office equipment from its two studios was also liquidated in auctions.
