Ever since Taylor Lautner confirmed that he was returning to the “Twilight Saga” as Jacob Black and that he was already working hard at the gym to get buffed up, fans have been literally on their toes to see his toned physique. Now, they have the chance of doing so, even if it’s just make-pretend, with this new fan-made poster for “New Moon” that is circulating in all “Twilight” communities, and causing quite a stir in the process.
As all fans must know, after accepting Summit’s offer of returning to the movie franchise as the leader of the wolf pack, 17-year-old Lautner has been hitting the gym hard, packing now about 30 pounds of muscle more than in the first installment. Consequently,
fans are eager to see the first “New Moon” poster showing all this hard work (a wolf has got to go shirtless, that much
is sure). In fact, some fans are so eager that they came up with a poster for the film themselves, as is the case of Grodansnagel for
DeviantArt.
This is clearly a fan-made poster and Summit does not endorse it in any way but, even so, it’s already creating waves of hysteria in “Twilight” communities and on the Internet in general. For starters, it’s well made and shows exactly what fans would like to see –
Taylor Lautner and his six-pack, complete with the wolf pack tattoo stamped on his upper arm. What’s more, even this is tagged as fan-made on most fan sites and movie-oriented publications, there still are some who actually believe it’s the real deal.
To set the record straight, real it is not – but that does not mean it doesn’t come close to what we should expect sometime in the immediate future, as Ashley Greene recently revealed to InTouch magazine. The actress, who has already had the pleasure of seeing Taylor show his abs on set, promised that fans, especially female ones, wouldn’t be disappointed by the long wait. “He looks like he’s in 300!” she gushed for the mag, which has prompted many to speculate that, hopefully, posters in the manner of
this one will soon be released, starring only Taylor Lautner.
In other Lautner news, just the other day, the actor’s rep denied reports that he was dating teen star Selena Gomez, with whom he was
photographed on a so-called date of dinner and a movie in Vancouver. Just because they hang out together and go to the movies doesn’t mean they’re an item, the publicist told the media.
