Oh boy, this is a funny one indeed. I always had a feeling that Bjork had more of a kinky side than most people imagined, but it wasn't until this weekend that we had confirmation. No, the singer didn't show up at a concert dressed in dominatrix gear and waving around a whip (perhaps that would have been a wiser choice), she just... decided that a half-naked photographer was better than a fully dressed one. Kidding. The fact is, the Iceland-born singer sure has a severe case of jet-lag... or she's a little more crazy than we may think, seeing how she managed to attack another reporter while in an airport. Remember that incident more than 10 years ago when the singer went medieval on a reported in Bangkok? Well, she did it again - and again, it happened while she was leaving an airport, only this time it was in New Zealand.
The people at Auckland International Airport in New Zealand sure must be cursing Bjork's name right about now, as the short-tempered artist pulled another one of her media-hating stunts. The singer allegedly got so pissed off at a photographer (his name is Glenn Jeffrey, in case you care) who dared to snap a few photos of her, that she jumped at
him and ripped the shirt off his back. Yes, I know, I was telling you there's a kinky side underneath all that hair and flowery costumes. "I took a couple of pictures and I got about three or four frames of her ... and as I turned and walked away she came up behind me, grabbed the back of my black skivvy and tore it down the back" the photographer in question states. "As she did this she fell over, she fell to the ground. At no stage did I touch her or speak with her. Bjork said nothing throughout the incident but the man with her was saying: "B, don't do this, B, don't do this!"" he added.
Yes, well, I have a feeling there's more to this story than we're being told at the moment. Either the photographer is lying about not pestering Bjork, or this lady has gone completely crazy and is now dedicated to silently ripping the shirts off the backs of all the paparazzi in this world. Either way, it's not good news. On the other hand, maybe some good may come of this. How about someone approaches Bjork and asks her to sell a few paparazzi-hunting tips to Britney? I'm sure she could use a few suggestions - and then we'd see something we never saw before. Maybe Britney and Bjork can team up and exterminate the paparazzi from the face of the earth. Now that'd be worth seeing!
