The folks at RingtoneFeeder have announced “Christmas on your iPhone,” an initiative that nabs you 24 iPhone-optimized ringtones this holiday season. For just US$4.99, you get six ringtones each week, for four weeks.

According to Geoff Smith, partner and producer at RingtoneFeeder, all the ringtones will be made available in two versions, as usual (with, and without a ringing sound embedded). The initiative hopes to attract registered users, or potential customers, suggesting that they may have a new Christmas ringtone on their iPhone every day until Christmas.

Those who like original ringtones on their devices have already discovered the weekly automated delivery service known as RingtoneFeeder. Exclusively produced and optimized for Apple's iPhone, all ringtones are the work of composer Geoff Smith. A trial version of RingtoneFeeder offers instant access to the introduction feed, and allows one to try the delivery process. Being subscribed to the free feed in iTunes will give users a few iPhone ringtone samples, as well as a video demo and, occasionally, a fresh tone or video.

The RingtoneFeeder Plus subscription that requires an existing active annual one is rather new on the scene. It grants instant access to all ringtones released by RingtoneFeeder in two separate feeds - one for vocal ringtones, and one for instrumentals. Additionally, the RingtoneFeeder Plus subscription offers access to every released ringtone since April 2008, access to download tones from the archive, video screencasts explaining how it works, and a PDF manual. The company ensures that it tests each and every tone “to make sure it sounds great when someone is calling your iPhone.”

Readers interested in the service should note that the annual subscription is set to automatic renewal via Paypal, for their convenience. Therefore, as a subscriber, one will be reminded about the renewal prior to the charge, at which point they can cancel it from their members' page.
