Two ringtail cubs born at California's The Living Desert precisely two months ago, on June 12, have recently made their public debut.

Zoo Borns reports that visitors to this animal sanctuary had the chance to have a look at the cubs while the latter were being hand-fed by their caretakers.

Their parents, Abe and Penelope, were nearby and kept a close eye on the cubs throughout the entire meal time.

Due to the fact that ringtails are nocturnal creatures, odds are these rascals will seldom step into the spotlight on their own accord, regardless of how many fans are eager to see them.

For those unaware, ringtails are a species of mammals closely related to raccoons. Wildlife researchers sometimes refer to them as ring-tailed cats.

A ringtail's typical diet includes insects, fruit like berries and even small animals such as mice, frogs and snakes.
