Rihanna is opening up on her romance with Chris Brown and the 2009 assault in a way she has never done before, in an interview with the latest issue of Elle magazine. Among other things, she also reveals she wants to have Chris’ baby.

Speaking of her latest single, the beautiful “Stay,” Rihanna explains that it’s about a loving relationship and the desire to have it last forever.

“You don’t have that feeling with everybody so when you have it you don’t want to let go of it. I would definitely say that he [Chris Brown] is the one I have that kind of relationship with,” Rihanna says.

Chris is also her best friend and, she hopes, one day, the father of her baby as well.

“I will probably have a kid. And I’m praying I can go on vacation for a good month. And I’ll have set some things up so I don’t have to tour for the rest of my life, even though I love touring. I want health and happiness in five years. I want to be healthy and happy,” she says.

She shoots down talk that she’s a victim or that she ever was one, even after the 2009 incident which saw her in the hospital at Chris’ hand, after he beat her bloody in a fit of rage.

She was never a victim, that was just something that happened, Rihanna says. More importantly, all that is in the past now and both she and Chris are looking forward to their future together.

“Now that we’re adults we can do this right. We got a fresh start and I’m thankful for that. Right now that’s just what we want, a great friendship that’s unbreakable,” she explains.

As for her apparent obsession with Instagram and Twitter (Rihanna has been named one of the most narcissistic celebrities out there), she says she only does it because she feels the compulsion to be entirely honest with her fans.

“Well I Instagram everything about my life, whether it’s smoking pot, in a strip club, reading a Bible verse – how crazy, I know! – or hanging out with my best friend, who happens to be Chris. That’s why I’m posting pictures of myself smoking pot, to tell the truth about myself,” she tells Elle.
