No sign of Kanye West and Paul McCartney yet

Rihanna surprised everyone when she dropped new music a little over a week ago – and a collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney and Kanye West, no less. Apparently, she’s not done with delivering treats for the fans because she’s also coming out with a music video.

The song is called “FourFiveSeconds” and is as catchy as it’s surprising. Rihanna has been taking some time off from recording music but it seems that a little distance did her good, because she’s returning with a new, more mature sound.

The video might turn out to be like that as well, based on the 2 teasers Rihanna posted online on Instagram, which you will also find available below.

The teasers include no sign of her famous collaborators, Kanye or Paul McCartney, but they do promise a stripped-down video where the focus will fall on the music and not the visuals.

The first one embedded below is a single continuous shot of Rihanna singing to the camera while wearing what looks like a man’s jeans shirt / jacket, loosely tied at the waist. The fact that both videos are in black in white seems to support the idea that, this once, Rihanna won’t go for something big or shocking, visually speaking.

The release date for the “FourFiveSeconds” video has been set for today, February 3. FYI, word online has it that the 3 might also show up at the Grammys on Sunday to perform it live, so we should probably expect something amazing.
