14 DAY TRIAL // Over the weekend, Rihanna performed two dates at the V Festival in the UK, wowing fans with her racy stage numbers and energetic dance routines. Also then, fans caught a glimpse of a scar on her chin that may hint at possible surgical interventions.
The Daily Mail has photos of the scar in question, while also launching a few theories as to what may have caused it.
One thing is certain, the tabloid writes: last time Rihanna was in the UK to perform, she didn’t have the scar on her face.
This could possibly mean that, in the meantime, she went under the knife to correct some flaw she deemed impossible to live with.
Of course, the possibility that she had the scar all along and no one noticed it is also a pretty good one.
“The 23-year-old singer lifted up her head and displayed the two tiny scars as she performed on stage at the music event at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex,” the Mail writes.
“It is not known how Rihanna got the scar, but the singer didn’t have it when she performed on The X Factor last October,” adds the tab.
“The scar could possibly be from a plastic surgery procedure, such as chin augmentation or reduction or a chin lift,” the Mail writes.
However, if that were the case, a change in the singer’s appearance would have also been visible, voices online point out.
“It has previously been reported that she also has a permanent scar on her lip from where her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown punched her in 2009,” the Mail adds, as if suggesting that this scar could also have appeared after she was beat up “to a pulp” by her then-boyfriend.
Back in July last year, another report claimed Rihanna went under the knife for a slightly more generous cleavage, getting implants that got her up precisely one cup size.
That one proved to be just a rumor.
