14 DAY TRIAL // Rihanna might be keeping a big secret from her fans as to the reasons she’s canceled 3 dates from her Diamonds World Tour so far, according to new reports: she could be pregnant with her first child.
In a single month, the pop star called off at the very last minute no less than 3 huge gigs, upsetting fans and promoters alike.
The first time this happened, her people said she’d come down with a throat infection but, as TMZ points out, it’s a bit odd for it to last a month.
“Sources connected to the singer told TMZ in early March she was suffering from a throat infection. Thing is, it's been more than a month now and there are clearly still issues,” the e-zine writes, explaining how the pregnancy rumors came to take over the tabloids.
The other day, Rihanna called off yet another date but, this time, her people would only say that it was “due to illness” and not offer more details about whatever her ailment was.
This was more than enough to get the rumor mill going at full speed, with various tabloids in the local and international media saying she was most definitely pregnant with her first child by on-and-off boyfriend Chris Brown.
However, E! News claims to have it on good authority that there’s no truth to the pregnancy talk, though it’s not able either to say what Rihanna might have.
“Wishful thinking? Apparently so. Multiple sources close to Rihanna confirm exclusively to E! News that the singer is not pregnant. So there you go,” the celebrity publication writes.
In all fairness, Rihanna did say in a very recent interview that she’d want a child with Chris Brown, though chances of her actually deciding to start a family in the middle of a world tour are rather slim.
