The music artist is going to be Brand Ambassador for LG's handset.

Some of us love LG's best seller phone Chocolate that comes in style with an extremely good looking minimalist and silky-gloss design, a touch sensitive keypad, an MP3 player, instant messaging and e-mail abilities. Other people love the 18 years old music artist Rihanna, a star born in Barbados, with a debut album that has reached platinum in a lot of countries and a gold certification in the United States.

I suppose this is the reason behind LG's decision to sign a deal with the singer to bring her together with their own star, the Chocolate, with the hope of reaching the hearts of the Rihanna fans between the ages of 16 and 24 so they will discover a new love in LG's mobile device.

The sexy pop sensation will be the Brand Ambassador for the newly launched Chocolate phones that come in white, mint green and cherry red colors. This position was a crucial one for the mobile phone manufacturer because their world sensation phone had to be paired with a star of the same magnitude and it seems that they have made the right decision because, as the senior director of marketing for LG Electronics MobileComm USA Inc., Jon Maron, has declared, "It was a natural fit to pair Chocolate by LG with one of today's hottest music artists, especially because of the unparalleled music capabilities of the Chocolate phone. We are thrilled to welcome Rihanna to the LG family. The goal of this partnership is to build the Chocolate brand within the 16-24 year-old market and we look forward to working with Rihanna to accomplish this".

Rihanna will start working on her new assignment right away by performing at a Billboard Music Awards event called "The LG Chocolate Party" at the Moon Nightclub from Las Vegas in the Palms Resort and Casino. The attendees list will also feature a lot of stars, some of which are Paris Hilton, NickelBack, Nas, Carmen Electra, Ludacris, Chingy, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and Three 6 Mafia.
