After they're duped into sharing the scam, the social network's customers are promised a free Walmart giftcard, Best Buy giftcards, iPhones and iPads.
To get in the possession of these fabulous prizes, users are urged to complete a simple survey at the end of which the crooks will fill their pockets with some cash. Survey sites will pay the cybercriminals for redirecting internauts to their page but no one actually ever wins anything.
