Rihanna Is Too Hot for Words

As the Billboard Music Awards was about to begin, the woman who, together with Mary J. Blige, would be crowned the queen of the festivities, Rihanna, made a very splashing appearance on the red carpet. She immediately became the center of all the attention and, we just have to give her that, she entirely deserved it.

Until now, we were used to seeing the pop star in more sporty outfits and with a rather teenage image. For the festivities that took place on Monday night, Rihanna let the woman in her come to life and, with some professional help from her stylists and make-up artists, she looked like a princess.

You know that, usually, I can't simply praise someone's good looks without at least pointing out something not so great. In beautiful Rihanna's case, the baddie is that she is just too perfect (even if the statement is not grammatically correct), up to the point of making me wonder if she's for real.

Sure, the make-up and the hair-do are both impeccable (anyone can see that) and that dress is... wow! beyond words. But there is something the matter with her face (maybe her broad smile) that literally fools me into believing that what I'm looking at is either a wax figure or a doll that closely resembles Rihanna.

The weirdest thing is that I know this is her! OK, and now I'm confused! Bottom line: real or not, I would like to thank the singer for bringing back real class and beauty (even if not that natural) to music. Plus, a gorgeous singing voice, for which she already got full recognition.
