14 DAY TRIAL // Their public display of affection at the 2013 Grammy Awards got everybody talking, mostly because it was solid confirmation that they were an item again. New reports suggest now that Rihanna and Chris Brown have already broken up.
British tab the Daily Mail reports that the two went out on Valentine’s Day, but it wasn’t exactly the type of outing you’d expect from the loved-up couple.
In fact, the two singers spent the night making obvious attempts to ignore each other.
“A source told MailOnline exclusively that the couple refused to acknowledge one another after both arriving at the Playhouse Nightclub in Los Angeles on Wednesday night,” the tab writes.
Admittedly, Rihanna had been booked to appear at the club but had no idea that Chris too would be there. Once she arrived and she saw him, she immediately requested not to be seated next to him, even though that was one of the options.
“Rihanna refused to sit with or even near Chris – and when Chris noticed she was there, he made a huge show of rubbing his presence in her face,” the source tells the Mail.
“He promptly ordered three more bottles of ace of spades which came out with in a procession of sparklers and scantily clad cocktail waitresses, causing a spectacle, which he clearly wanted Rihanna to see,” adds the same insider.
Not once did the two communicate throughout the night, keeping to their tables and the entourage they came with.
At 2 in the morning, Chris left with his friends, with Rihanna following suit after an hour or so.
Even when they were dating already but were yet to confirm it, they would leave separately but at around the same time. The one-hour difference would indicate that they did not spend the night together, word has it.
As for talk that Chris and Rihanna have broken up, fans must already know that their relationship isn’t exactly stable and that they have been on and off for some time now.
