Rihanna has been working hard for the past couple of years, hardly stopping to take a breather or just enjoy the perks of celebrity. It all caught up with her over the weekend, just as she was about to take the stage in Dublin, says a new report.

Now on a massive 101-date tour, Rihanna has also been working on a brand new album, while promoting material off it.

It's no wonder then that she ended up exhausted and confused, not wanting to continue to perform as scheduled, The Sun writes.

Luckily, just when she told her people she wouldn't be on stage to sing to fans, Rihanna had the inspired idea of calling Beyonce for advice – and she convinced her to power through.

“The Bajan singer, 23, threw the wobbler just hours before she was due on stage in Dublin last Friday. She only decided to perform after making a tearful phone call to mentor Beyonce, who was able to talk her round,” the British tabloid writes.

Unnamed sources confirm for The Sun that Beyonce told Rihanna she must honor her commitments and only afterwards thing about herself.

She offered her own situation as an example, telling her to finish the tour and then take some time off for herself.

“She's just a young woman who just wants to have fun, but she was feeling pretty low. It's a mix of exhaustion and stress. She's been partying hard to take her mind off things, but there are days when she wakes up and doesn't even know where she is because of the traveling,” one insider dishes for the publication.

“It's no wonder she is feeling down. [Beyonce] knows Rihanna needs downtime or she'll burn out,” adds the spy.

Rihanna performed on Dublin and later took to Twitter to say she was feeling “light-headed.” She doesn't say anything about being exhausted or about coming very close to pulling the plug on the show completely.
