14 DAY TRIAL // Yesterday it was reported that the whirlwind romance between Drake and Rihanna had come at a screeching halt because the two singers didn't see eye to eye anymore. Many thought that these two were the perfect couple, so maybe that's why they are giving themselves another chance.
Hollywoodlife claims to have it on good authority that Rihanna is willing to give Drake another shot after she cut him off a few days ago, when he reportedly called her too “needy.” RiRi was said to be feeling neglected, but when she told Drake he brushed her off by saying “Babe, you’re too needy. Let me hustle, babe. Let me work.”
Now Rihanna is willing to put this past transgression behind them and let Drake back into her life, but only if he conforms to her request: “She doesn’t know how to grasp the situation, meaning him wanting to hustle and focus on work. She gets it but still thinks he should be able to make time for him no matter what. She’s a woman and she wants to be put on a pedestal,” says an insider.
The bad thing is that Rihanna thinks Drake is to blame for spoiling her in the first place: “Real talk, she wouldn’t even be tripping this hard if he didn’t come hard with the flattering in the beginning. She think it’s his fault for spoiling her rotten.”
“She got used to it, used to feeling like the only girl in the world — even bigger than the almighty dollar itself — and then he stopped. That’s not the business and she hates when guys do that,” the source adds.
The solution then would be to give Rihanna all of his undivided attention “If he’s going to make her feel like she’s a one of a kind rose in the beginning and water her every second of the day, then he better keep watering her because if he doesn’t, the rose is going to die.”
All of a sudden, this gives new meaning to Rihanna's song “Only Girl,” in which she begs a certain someone “I want you to make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world.”
Chances are that Drake is going to break down and give her exactly what she wants because it's rumored that they are both very much in love and he's crazy about her. Either way, he's still a significant upgrade from her previous boyfriend, Chris Brown, who not only used to treat her badly, but also didn't shy away from beating her when he got mad.
