14 DAY TRIAL // Rihanna loves tattoos and, as such, she already has a very impressive collection even though she’s only 24. Just the other day in London, she added another piece to said impressive collection.
The pop star was in town to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Paralympic Games, as we also informed you earlier today.
Shortly before the highly anticipated performance, she was photographed by British paparazzi out and about, hanging out with friends.
She was also spotted leaving a tattoo parlor, with a large piece of bandaid on her chest, visible because of her cropped top that revealed her toned tummy.
As expected, talk of a new tattoo immediately started online, with many fans burning with curiosity about what else she might have gotten.
Luckily, Rihanna is not the kind of star to keep secrets from her fans so, shortly afterwards, she was on Twitter and Instagram, showing off her new piece.
And boy is it an impressive one.
The tattoo is of the goddess Isis and, as the singer herself explains, she got it to honor and in memory of her late grandmother to whom she was extremely close.
It's on her ribcage, right underneath her breasts.

Gran Gran Dolly was the nickname Rihanna used for her grandmother. She passed away in July of this year, after a long battle with cancer.
Though she knew what to expect, Rihanna was devastated by the loss. She made sure she spent as much time as possible with Gran Gran Dolly before she passed.
“Words can't explain the essence of her beauty,” she wrote on Twitter shortly after her death, as she was tweeting up a storm and posting photos of the two of them together, in a bid to share with her fans a bit of their beautiful friendship.
