Over the weekend, Rihanna put on a fiery performance during the NBA All-Star Game halftime, singing a medley of her hits – with some help from friends Drake and Kanye West, who made surprising cameos.

As the video below, the 11+-minute show kicked off with an orchestral version of Rihanna’s hit “Umbrella” but the signs were already there that this would be no mellow show.

The pop star then tossed her jacket aside and launched into the dance track “Only Girl (In the World),” completely changing the mood.

There were dancers, there were lots of provocative moves and there was, as usual, a lot of sassy attitude from Rihanna, as any of her fans who’ve seen her in concert must already know.

Most importantly, throughout the entire performance, the singer interacted with the audience, touching hands and kneeling to their level on the side of the stage.

After “Only Girl (In the World),” Rihanna made things even more sizzling with her “Rude Boy,” followed by “What’s My Name.”

It was during the latter that Drake made a surprise appearance, coming in from the audience. He even managed to include a Happy Birthday wish to Rihanna in his verses, with her being obviously moved by his gesture.

However, as usual, the best was saved for last: after Drake and Rihanna were done with “What’s My Name,” the first beats of Kanye West’s “All of the Light” started playing, to the delight of the crowd.

The rapper stepped on stage dressed in red leather pants, a red hoodie and lots of golden chains, and performed his part of the track, with Rihanna singing the chorus, just like she does on the album version as well.

As far as one can note from the video below, this is probably the only part of the performance that did not have a live band playing the melody and used a track, which would also explain why both Kanye and Rihanna seemed drowned out by the music.
