The “Fifty Shades” trilogy from E.L. James is about to be turned into a film franchise, with “Fifty Shades of Grey” scheduled for release for Valentine’s Day 2015. Such adult novels are all the rage right now, so you can’t really blame someone for wanting to ride on James’ coattails to achieve success.

Unless, of course, we’re talking about “Grey” fan fiction that replaces Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele from the novels with Chris Brown and Rihanna, who, until not long ago, were involved in an on-an-off abusive relationship.

“Fifty Shades of Sin” is a real thing, and tells the story of Robyn (Rihanna’s real name) and Chris. It makes no attempt at hiding the fact that it’s based on these two’s life story so, right now, the only thing that still bugs is how come the author hasn’t been sued by either party yet.

“This is the strange story of Robyn and Chris, and how they find love in a HOPELESS PLACE. From the moment they meet, their attraction is explosive. They fall hard for each other. They crave each other every minute of the day. However, they just can’t be together,” the book’s description reads.

“This is a story about love, but it explores the difficulties, sacrifices, and pain that love brings as well,” it adds. It also includes a warning that the novel, the first in a planned series, contains scenes of physical and emotional abuse that could upset readers.

Considering that Brown put Rihanna in the hospital in 2009 when, in a fit of rage, he banged her head against the dashboard and tried to push her out of the speeding car, the very existence of the book is questionable because it glorifies an abusive relationship and presents the very traits in Chris that led to its demise as desirable – nay, manly even.

Chris and Rihanna’s much mediated romance was anything but healthy, a thing Rihanna herself admitted to. It was like an addiction that got her hurt every time, and it wasn’t until recently that she managed to shake it off.

In other words, voices online are saying, “Fifty Shades of Sin” takes “Fifty Shades of Grey” to sickening depths because, now, we don’t just have a male lead who takes pleasure in controlling and stalking his woman, but one who abuses her whichever way he can – and she finds it absolutely irresistible.

“Follow more of Robyn and Chris’ story, all the way down to what happened that sad night of the Grammys,” is how the first book ends. The “sad” night at the Grammys was the night when Chris beat Rihanna to a pulp.
