14 DAY TRIAL // Rihanna kicked off her Diamonds Tour on March 8 but she’s already been forced to cancel the second date, in Boston, because of a severe bout of laryngitis.
“Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening,” a statement from the organizers to TMZ writes.
Rihanna herself has confirmed the news, apologizing to fans on Twitter though, for the sake of argument, not all were as sympathetic to her condition as she might have expected.
In fact, not few were those who suggested that she should party less especially if she’s on tour, if she wants to stop disappointing fans.
“#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down,” Rihanna wrote on the social networking website.
The pop star will return on stage in Baltimore, on March 12.
