Rihanna has just wrapped her surprise 777 Tour, which saw her travel to 7 cities in 7 days to perform at 7 locations. Also on the private jet with her, several fans and many members of the press who have complained that the whole thing was a “mess” because Rihanna never spent any time with them.

To them, she says she’s sorry.

In a statement cited by the Atlantic Wire, Rihanna apologizes to all those who felt (and took to Twitter to say so) that she should have spent more time with them.

She’s sorry but she had no other choice, this was no pleasure trip for her, she says. Which makes total sense, if you think about it.

“I know you guys got barely any dirt. But I had to be good. I still sound like [expletive]. It's impossible to spend time with everybody, and I'm sorry I didn't. But this was excellent and I would definitely do it again. I would do this next time with more people, more cities and sit back with the fans more,” Rihanna says.

“I had to preserve my health. Normally, I'd be back here popping bottles with y'all... I had to preserve my voice. I was worried about my body more than partying on the plane, so I had to just sleep whenever I could. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did,” the pop star adds.

Rihanna embarked on the 777 Tour in support of her brand new album “Unapologetic,” and word has it she’ll turn the entire experience into a 3D concert movie like Justin Bieber and Katy Perry before her.
