Developer and publisher Trion Worlds announces that the Storm Legion expansion for its MMO Rift can be pre-ordered now via the Steam digital distribution service from Valve, and all those who do so will get access to a new Death Cape item that no one else will be able to obtain. The official description for the new content reads, “Crucia—Dragon of Air and the Queen of Storms—has waited patiently while her fellow dragons were slain by the Ascended. Now it is down to her and Regulos, the Devourer of Worlds, to divide the spoils of Telara.”
The new classes for Storm Legion include the Harbinger, a version of the mage; the Tempest, a warrior; the Tactician, based on the rogue; and the Defiler, a version of the Cleric.
The official launch for Rift: Storm Legion will take place on November 6 and gamers will be able to explore new areas and engage in new quests.
