Ridiculous Fishing, one of the most popular games on iOS, will arrive on Android devices in the near future, the title’s developer has announced.

Apparently, the demand for bringing this game to Android has been huge, and Vlambeer, its developer, has been working on a port for several months now.

Things are nearing the final stages of development, and the game might be launched very soon, though a specific release date hasn’t been provided as of now.

However, Vlambeer did say in a blog post that they had been working with Zach Gage & Greg Wohlwend since March for the launch of Ridiculous Fishing on Android, and that the port was almost done, courtesy of the folks over at Apportable.

You might not have to wait too long to enjoy the benefits of this game on devices running under Google’s mobile platform, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
