Sergio Munoz was addicted to black tar heroin, which he was selling

A man embarking on a shooting spree in the small town of Ridgecrest, in California, was dealing and using drugs.

Sources say that he was addicted to black tar heroin, and he was complaining about drugs ruining his life. Sergio Munoz was fatally shot in a confrontation with police.

Dawn Meier, the sister of one of the survivors in the shooting, disclosed the information to the police.

According to the Daily Mail, her brother was shot after he refused to help Munoz in his plan to eliminate “snitches.”

The suspect also shot and killed the man's girlfriend. He had been staying with the couple for the last two weeks, at their home.

Munoz used to work as a technician for the Searles Valley Minerals company, but he has recently lost his job.
