Namco Bandai, after disappointing gamers with the announcement that its Ridge Racer for the PlayStation Vita isn’t going to be a full pledged release, has now presented the release plan for all the downloadable content that’s going to arrive for the racing title.

The Ridge Racer series has delighted lots of gamers with its fast paced races and dangerous tracks, but it seems that Vita owners will just get the barebones experience, as Namco Bandai is going to deploying a game with just three old tracks and five cars.

Now, the Japanese company, via CVG, has confirmed some of the downloadable content that will appear after the game’s release, alongside the Vita, on December 17.

Right after the launch, a free music pack will be delivered to Vita races, on December 22, which includes famous tracks from previous Ridge Racer games. Starting with February, paid DLC will be introduced, with the company deploying cars and courses over the course of that month, as well as in March, April or May.

No word yet on the exact pricing, so expect more details soon enough, especially for other markets like North America or Europe.
