High printing speeds and good levels of printing efficiency are what most customers are looking for when purchasing a new printer, and for this reason, Ricoh has decided to update some of its older models, releasing the brand-new Aficio SP C320DN color laser printer.

Designed to replace the SP C311N and SP C312DN models, Ricoh's new color laser printer comes equipped with a set of features most companies will certainly find attractive, such as an Economy Color Mode and ECO Night Sensor, both of which will enable users to cut back on costs.

For example, the Economy Color Mode allows users to specifically chose the printing characteristics (DPI, quality, etc.) depending on their needs, while the ECO Night Sensor will switch off the printer's power supply during night-time, when it's typically not in use.

Apart from this economy-related features, the new printer from Ricoh also offers a very good level of printing efficiency, being able to attain a maximum output speed of around 26 pages per minute, while also being able to support a variety of printing media of up to 8.5" x 14" size paper, as well as banners of up to 8.5" x 49.6" in size.

Furthermore, the new printer from Ricoh provides quite a few interesting security-related features, such as, for example, User Authentication, that enables only the authorized users to access the data from the printer, or the built-in network encryption system, preventing the interception of data streams coming from the users' computers or workstations.

“The Ricoh Aficio SP C320DN allows businesses to produce brilliant color output while addressing document security and maintaining sustainable printing practices." said Shun Sato, senior vice president, Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation, while, unfortunately, not providing any specific details on the pricing of the new laser printer, that, however, will apparently be available via the company's usual retail channels.
