Ricoh, owner of the Pentax brand, has already announced its CP+ 2014 camera and lens lineup, and among the novelties we can mention the new medium format 645D 2014 that comes equipped with the same 50MP CMOS sensor used by Phase One and Hasselblad in their new medium format camera systems, the IQ250 and H5D-50c.

Moreover, the Nippon manufacturer has also presented a new ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for the 645 mount, a telephoto macro lens for Q-mount mirrorless cameras, two rugged waterproof compact cameras, and other accessories.

Japanese website Egami has recently discovered two new patents filed by Ricoh that show the company's plans to introduce a new 24mm f/2 lens for APS-C format cameras as well as to add an auto bracketing feature to future Pentax models or even to the current ones via a new firmware update.

The patents don't reveal much about the 35mm f/2 (35mm equivalent) lens or when the new auto bracketing feature will be added to current Pentax camera models.
