Rick Ross doesn’t “condone rape” but he won’t apologize either for a lyric on “U.O.E.N.O.” which seems to indicate just that. The rapper is under heavy fire again, this time for only feigning to apologize on Twitter.

Fans must know that Rick Ross has been getting flack for the record for a few months now, but it’s just after a staged protest at Reebok (which he endorses) that he’s going on the record with an “apology.”

“I don't condone rape. Apologies for the #lyric interpreted as rape. #BOSS,” he says on Twitter.

“Apologies to my many business partners, who would never promote violence against women. @reebokclassics @ultraviolet,” he adds.

You will note that he’s not really admitting culpability, just pretending to apologize that people “interpreted” the lyric as rape.

If you don’t know the offensive lyric, it goes something like this: “Put molly [MDMA / ecstasy] all in her champagne, she ain't even know it./ I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain't even know it.”

Sounds like he is bragging about date rape, right? You be the judge.
