Rick Perry's speech during the recent Republican Presidential Debate brought him a lot of attention, videos of him circulating all over the web. Cybercriminals took notice and they made sure a lot of the results that appear in a Google search will represent malicious domains.

Websense researchers found 206 unique URLs that contain malicious and potentially harmful content.

This is just an example, since his video is the latest craze on Youtube, but a large number of public figures can be in the same situation. Whenever a hot subject emerges, hackers and other internet villains will quickly rise to the occasion and fill the web with their malevolent schemes.

Users who want to view the politician's speech should go directly to Youtube or to trusted sources to avoid any plot that's carefully set up by crooks.
