Richard Thalheimer, an entrepreneur who recently debuted his own line of portable charging solutions for iPhone, iPod and other smartphones, has announced RichardSolo 1800 for iPhone. It’s a charger that users connect to the iPhone to extend their battery life. The accessory also features a built-in LED flashlight and laser pointer, and sells for $69.95.

"Here's the problem, the iPhone is the greatest product ever,” Richard Thalheimer, founder of RichardSolo, says. “[B]ut it runs low on battery power by dinner time. What's the solution? Introducing our newest backup battery, the RichardSolo 1800, with 1800 mAh of capacity. Just snap it on! Enjoy the built-in ultra-bright LED flashlight and laser pointer. Dual-USB car charger, AC wall charger, and retractable USB cable included. Try it, and I guarantee you will be satisfied!" Thalheimer claims.

The RichardSolo 1800 is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and all other iPod devices except the shuffle. Also worth noting is that if your iPod touch or iPod nano has the earphone jack right next to the battery connector, you will not be able to use the earphone jack while you are charging the iPod, according to Richard.

In addition to selling chargers, RichardSolo offers cases, speakers, docks, and personal stereo devices, in the range of $29 to $199. The designs are fairly impressive.

RichardSolo touts itself as an online store that puts customer service and satisfaction as its first priority. “We love interesting and new products, but most importantly, we value your satisfaction,” the company (Richard) states. “Our pledge to you is that you will find us responsive, quick to resolve problems, and determined to do anything within reason to make your transactions with us as delightful as possible,” the About Us concludes. Richard also mentions that he is also the founder and creator of The Sharper Image, in 1977.
