Richard Gere Joins THE FLOCK

Richard Gere will star in THE FLOCK, a $35 million thriller, about a hypervigilant federal agent who, while training his young female replacement, must track down a missing girl who he is convinced is connected to a paroled sex offender he is investigating.

The movie will mark the English-language debut of Hong Kong director Andrew Lau (Wai Keung Lau) according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film, based on a script co-written by Hans Bauer and Craig Mitchell, will be financed and distributed by Bauer Martinez.

Meanwhile, Richard Gere, 56, is filming for Lasse Hallstr�m's THE HOAX, a movie which will be released in 2006.
