14 DAY TRIAL // RhoLogic Mobile for SugarCRM has been released and is now available from iTunes App Store and Android Market. Developed by RhoLogic, a division of Logic Appeal, the application was built using Rhodes, one of the first open-source smartphone app framework.
As the developer's stated, RhoLogic Mobile seems to be the world's first CRM app to work against customized and changing underlying database schema.
The open-source smartphone app framework can be used for quickly building native applications for every major device, such as iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Mobile, and Symbian.
"Unlike standard out-of-the-box CRM smartphone applications, RhoLogic Mobile for SugarCRM provides businesses with the only truly usable way for taking their live SugarCRM data to their mobile workforce," said Chris Hall, CEO of Logic Appeal.
"Rhomobile's Rhodes enables a native smartphone application that operates without the delays inherent to browser-based apps."
"Due to its support for changing metadata such as to the layout or language fields, changes are immediately reflected in the mobile application, ensuring complete consistency between the SugarCRM backend web application and the mobile application," Hall continued.
The main strong point of the application is the ability to allow mobile workers to access and manage their SugarCRM data on the go, even without Internet access or cellular connection.
Basically, RhoLogic Mobile offers users offline access to information and near real-time data updates when a network is available.
Thanks to the automatic synchronization any changes made via the smartphone are applied to the SugarCRM backend application.

The application is now available for free and can be downloaded from iTunes AppStore or Android Market.
