This past Saturday, forest guards and authorities in the Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India had their hands full trying to convince an adult make rhino not to leave the wildlife sanctuary and go looking for love.

Information shared with the public says that the male rhino was nothing if not determined to find a sweetheart.

Hence, despite the forest guards and the park authorities' best efforts, it managed to stray outside the park on several occasions.

In order to get it to return to the Kaziranga National Park, guards and authorities had to fire many shots in the air.

What's more, they brought three elephants to the scene, hoping that their presence might discourage the male rhino and get it to forget about romance.

According to Times of India, the rhino tried attacking the elephants, and even killed some cows it chanced to come across while running from the forest guards and the park authorities.

Eventually, the latter managed to push it back in the Kaziranga National Park.
