Reyes Wants OUT of Arsenal

Arsenal might go ahead and lose another important starter this week. After Chelsea made it very clear that they want defender Ashley Cole, Spaniard Jose Antonio Reyes seems to want out of the gunners' squad. Even if he is believed to be one of the greatest stars in Spanish football, the player didn't seem to get used to Arsene Wenger team during the last 2 seasons.

And London seems to be scaring footballers away as time goes by, since both Arsenal and Chelsea have a real problem sticking on to their players. After Didier Drigba and Hernan Crespo stated that they want out of Mourinho's team, Arsenal is confronting with the same problem. Arsene Wenger is on the verge of losing one of his most promising youngsters because the Spaniard failed to adapt to his squad.

"I have always said I want a return to Spain. I have not adapted to life in England. If Real Madrid want me that is marvelous. It would be an honor to play for them. Let's see what happens. I have nothing against Arsenal, completely the opposite. It is a great club and they have helped me so much. The fans have given me so much support since I joined. But they know that I have not got used to the language or the weather", said Reyes earlier today.

The midfielder was transferred to London from Sevilla in the January of 2004, but only managed 23 goals in the Premiership. He started the squad 110 times and he was believed to be the next Thierry Henry of Arsenal. Although he is keen on returning to Spain, it is highly unlikely that Arsenal will let him go, especially since no club in Primera Liga has taken a special interest in the Spaniard.
