Reyes Doesn't Want to Leave Arsenal

It seems that more and more Premiership players are starting to have a change of heart when it comes to leaving the club that they are playing for. And it started today, with Didier Drogba trying to convince the Chelsea fans that he is very happy with Mourinho's side. Hernan Crespo should be the next one on the list, since the Argentine did not change his mind about wanting to go back to Italy.

Today, though, another Londoner decided to stay in England. This time, it's Arsenal who managed to
hold on to one of their most impressive strikers. After the media launched rumors about Juan Antonio Reyes wanting to leave the gunners, the Spaniard released a statement earlier today, saying that he did not, for one second, think about leaving Arsene Wenger's side.

More, he admitted that the new stadium and home of the Arsenal club is one of the main reasons why he has chosen to stay with the Premiership side. He was linked with a move to Real Madrid earlier in the weekend, but he now ruled out the transfer. He denied saying he failed to adapt the English way of life of language and was convinced that his team will manage even greater performances this season.

"I don't know where these words have come from but what I would like to say is that I am very happy at Arsenal. I am excited about the new stadium and helping Arsenal challenge for honors", said Reyes.

Arsenal managed to keep all his players during the summer, while transferring Czech Republic midfielder Tomas Rosiky. The only danger for Wenger - in terms of losing players - is Chelsea's bid for Ashley Cole. Still, if the gunners manage to keep their winger for another season, Arsenal will most likely repeat last year's sensational performances in Europe and improve the ones in the Premiership.
