14 DAY TRIAL // Only a few hours have passed since they leaked the credentials of over 60,000 customer accounts stolen from Italian web hosting provider Websolutions.it, but the Rex Mundi hackers have already announced a new target.
They claim to have hacked into the systems of Numericable.be, the Belgian branch of Numericable, the British-American-Luxembourgian owned telecoms company that operates in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
According to a statement published online, the hackers have allegedly found the detailed records of over 6,000 customers on the server they’ve breached.
“We contacted Numericable.be a few days ago but, so far, they have not yet replied to us. If they do not agree to our demands, we will release the data stolen from the Numericable.be servers next week, just as we recently released the data of Websolutions.it,” they said.
In order to prove they have access to Numericable’s systems, the hackers have published some sample data which consists of email addresses, names, phone numbers and addresses. They’ve also leaked the single sign-on details for a few dozen individuals.
