Remember the rumor about Microsoft giving away prizes for high ranking 360 gamers? It's coming to life and it's going down on February 12 with the aid of Old Spice. The only thing you have to do is play games to achieve as many points as you can, and isn't that what you love? It's practically the goal of every gamer out there so your task is crystal clear, not easy though. By achieving points, you'll be entering one of the three categories set for different ranking/experienced gamers. The prizes, which are $500.000 worth by the way, will be divided among the categories in the following manner: If you're a rookie and still need some skill improvement, you'll be eligible for winning prizes found in Stage 1, where the number of points you've achieved doesn't have to be so great but then, the prizes will reflect that. Then there is Stage 2, where more experienced gamers will battle it out for better prizes as they have more points to achieve in order to be eligible. Finally, you have Stage 3 of the competition which you'll enter only if you've proven to have the best reflexes, attention and coordination. Don't worry, although it sounds like a tough nut to crack, the prizes will take the fear away. The prizes will consist in Microsoft points, T-shirts, Xbox 360 games and more, as shown below: Level 1 gamers who have an annual gamerscore between 0-4,999 at time of entry will be eligible to win Game Picture, Dashboard theme, Contra for Xbox LIVE Arcade Level 2-5,000-9,999 annual gamerscore: Level 1 Package, 100 Microsoft Points and a contest T-shirt and level 3: 10,000 annual gamerscore: Level 1 Package, 200 Microsoft Points, contest T-shirt and Fusion Frenzy 2. In order to register for the competition you'll need to visit this site on February 12. Oh, and remember that the prize quantities are limited making it a race against the clock as well.
