The first piece of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, called Revolution, is set to arrive on the PlayStation 3 home consoles from Sony and on the PC on the last day of February.

Gamers will get access to four new maps, named Hydro, Downhill, Grind and Mirage and there’s also a new zombie-based mode built around a map called Die Rise, according to the PlayStation Blog.

The development team at Treyarch is also adding a new weapon, the Peacekeeper, which offers a mix of abilities from an assault rifle and a submachine gun.

Revolution is already available on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.

Activision wants to continue delivering new content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in order to make sure that the franchise continues to dominate the first-person shooter multiplayer space.
