The paid version for Revo Uninstaller has been updated to version 2.5.9 today. It is a minor release that does not integrate any new, extraordinary features. The changelog is extremely short and the most significant entry notes that the new revision adds support for Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system. Other than this, the modifications are non-specific, with the developer fixing minor bugs and updating the language files.
Compared to the
free edition of the application, Revo Uninstaller Pro has a notable number of advantages, such as more advanced algorithms for scanning for left-overs, real-time monitoring for system changes or full compatibility with 64-bit Windows.
Moreover, it offers support for command-line uninstall procedure for advanced users and provides a multi-level backup system, the registry section included.
