Hurricane Isaac did not hit Tampa even though it was believed it would. According to Reverend Jesten Peters, the good people of Tampa have to thank God for that because their prayers were heard.

Rev. Peters talked to the CBN about Isaac steering clear of Tampa and stressed that this was a sign that all prayers to God eventually do get answered.

“We have had lots and lots of people praying around the clock that it would move, and after you watch from the very beginning where they were saying it was coming and now where they say it is going, then it has really moved out of the way for us and we appreciate God doing that and moving it for us!” she says.

Back in March, a video of a woman “praying away” a tornado in Kentucky went viral, paving the way for yet another heated debate on whether such strong beliefs in God (in this particular circumstance) are admirable or too naïve.
