It looks like more rumors on the 32GB Nexus 7 hint to an imminent release of the slate for the end of this month. We already reported yesterday that the tablet has been spotted in Carphone Warehouse inventory, along with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2.

Today, once again, Droid-Life has been tipped that another retailer lists the 32GB version of Nexus 7, though the slate has the “Call for Availability” tag attached to it.

According to this tipster, the first shipments of 32GB Nexus 7 are expected to arrive on October 24 or around this timeframe, for a price that will probably be revealed closer to launch.

No other details are available for the moment, save the fact that this 32GB Nexus 7 tablet will be a “special model.” So far, we’ve been unable to learn what makes the slate special, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.

Aside from the higher amount of storage, we don’t have any info that might suggest the 32GB Nexus 7 is any different than the other two models currently available on the market.

This means that Android enthusiasts should expect the slate to be equipped with quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, which is complemented by a 1GB of RAM.

The 7.0-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra-protection.

It will be powered by a 4325 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has been confirmed to offer around 10 hours of talk time, though the continuous usage time might be a bit lower.

Other highlights of the tablet should include: 1.2-megpaixel main camera with video calling capability, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC (Near Field Communication) support. We also expect the 32GB Nexus 7 to be based on the latest version of Google’s mobile platform, namely Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
