14 DAY TRIAL // The leader of the John Lewis retail chain in the United Kingdom says that he believes that Xbox One home console from Microsoft will outsell the PlayStation 4 from Sony during the coming holiday season.
GamesIndsutry.biz quotes the executive as saying that, “We are stocking both the PS4 and the Xbox One but if we were to back one, we are thinking that Xbox One will appeal a bit more to our customers in terms of the experience it creates.”
The Xbox One will have an edge because it has a more attractive launch game line-up and because a lot of gamers already implicitly trust the Xbox Live service for multiplayer.
Other sources have claimed that the lower price of the PlayStation 4 will mean that it will lead in terms of sales when 2014 stars.
Both devices will be launched all through November.
