More leaked details have appeared about Titanfall, the upcoming shooter from Respawn Entertainment, confirming that the game will appear first for the PC and Xbox One, and then onto other platforms, like the Xbox 360.

Respawn Entertainment, the studio created by the co-founders of Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward, has been working hard on its first game for some time now.

Unfortunately, the announcement scheduled at E3 2013 next week was foiled by a glitch with Game Informer magazine that sent the digital issue to subscribers earlier than planned.

The leaks started appearing yesterday, with the first image popping up alongside a few details.

Now, a bunch of new info has appeared online via NeoGAF.

Apparently, Titanfall is going to be a 1-year exclusive for the PC and Xbox One, as Respawn hasn't been able to focus on more platforms because of its small staff. That said, a Xbox 360 version is going to be ported by another developer.

The studio had planned Titanfall for current-generation platforms, but the power requirements were too big and even on the Xbox One the game will use the platform's extensive cloud computing network to handle things like AI processing or physics.

The game is powered by an extensively rewritten version of Valve's Source engine, which allows it to run at 60fps, just like Call of Duty.

The shooter includes a campaign-based multiplayer experience, a "traditional" online mode, as well as a "one-player mode."

Players will control pilots who can move by themselves on the battlefield or use mechanized walkers called Titans. The machines are quite fast and very powerful, although agile enemy pilots can climb on top of them and damage the weak brain, taking them down with weapons like pistols, assault rifles, or special anti-Titan rocket launchers.

Maps will be big and open and even feature AI-controlled enemies that have their own behavior.

No other details are available, but fans should expect Respawn and EA to share all the official news next week.
