After releasing the special Resistance Trilogy package in Europe, Sony has now confirmed that it’s going to debut a special Resistance Collection later this year in North America, bringing the three great first-person shooters once again onto the PlayStation 3.

The Resistance franchise made by Insomniac Games was supposed to compete with other big shooter series, like Halo or Call of Duty, but it never equaled to those popular properties.

Still, the Resistance titles managed to attract quite a lot of PlayStation fans by delivering a variety of impressive experiences for the PlayStation 3, as well as for the PlayStation Portable or the PlayStation Vita.

Now, as a special treat for those who’ve yet to experience the three games made for the PlayStation 3, Sony has confirmed that it’s going to debut a Resistance Collection in North America this winter.

The special bundle includes the three games, as well as the different DLC that was released for them over the years. Check out its official description below.

The Resistance Collection will include all three of the critically acclaimed PS3 Resistance games from Insomniac Games – Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, and Resistance 3. You’ll also get extra bonus DLC content for Resistance 2 and Resistance 3 so you can play with all of the best DLC from both games, including the Aftermath Pack and skin bundle from Resistance 2, and both the Brutality and Survival Packs from Resistance 3. For those of you who missed out on Nathan Hale and Joseph Capelli’s battle against the Chimeran invasion, this is a great chance to get all three games and enjoy the exotic weapons and frenetic multiplayer action the series is known for.

The Resistance Collection will retail for $39.99 (around €30.7) and will receive a release date plus more details soon enough.
