14 DAY TRIAL // In preparation for the upcoming launch of Resistance 3, Insomniac Games and Sony have just announced that a special Resistance Dual Pack will be released next month in North America.
Resistance 3 is set to take the first-person shooter franchise made by Insomniac to new heights, introducing a new protagonist and showcasing the battle between humans and the evil Chimera monsters in a new way.
As you can imagine, the two companies want to make sure that everyone is up to speed with the franchise's story, so, in order to give a chance to those new to the series, a special Resistance Dual Pack will be released in North America.

Releasing in the North America this July 5th, you’ll be able to purchase Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 together in one convenient package – at one convenient price," Insomniac community intern Brandon Winfrey said. "For only $39.99 (MSRP) you can experience the thrilling journey of Nathan Hale as he fights back the invading alien force known as the Chimera. And it comes just in time for you to be ready for Resistance 3."
What's more, the Dual Pack also includes three pieces of downloadable content for the second Resistance game, including the Aftermath Multiplayer Map Pack, Skin Bundle and Wraith Skin multiplayer weapon.
Fans of the new protagonist, Joseph Capelli, are also in for a treat, as the Resistance Dual Pack includes a voucher for a special multiplayer skin made for Resistance 3.
"Exclusive only to this dual pack is a voucher code for the Capelli SRPA skin. So, if you want to dominate your foes in Resistance 3 multiplayer as the gruffer and buffer version of Capelli from the Resistance 2 days, you need to pick up this Dual Pack."
The Resistance Dual Pack will be out exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on July 5, while Resistance 3 is going to appear on September 6.
