One photographer has put up an exhibit consisting of shots of his neighbors. They did not know that they were being photographed, as he did it in secrecy from a building across the street.

Arne Svenson's subject are wealthy residents of a luxurious Tribeca building, NY Post informs. They live on 475 Greenwich St. while he is a resident of 125 Watt St.

His exhibit is hosted by Julie Saul Gallery in Chelsea and it has opened on Saturday. Pieces include neighbors doing housekeeping, sleeping or putting their children to bed.

Svenson does not show their faces in the photos, so, although he has been dubbed a “peeping Tom” he might not have done anything illegal.

His works are now going for as much as $7,500 (€5,800) a piece, but he could be facing a civil suit with damages.
