Mike Lunn, a developer working on Resident Evil: Revelations, says that the console and PC versions of the game will feature randomized enemies in order to give players more scary moments and increase the replayability of the levels.

He tells Eurogamer that “One of the things we’ve really done to make the game a little bit more scarier the more times you play through it is by randomising the position of enemies and items and all that good stuff.”

Traditionally, Resident Evil games had a setup prepared by the development team in order to ensure maximum impact from monster attacks and guide players through the game.

Capcom has recently revealed that it was aiming for more innovation for its Resident Evil franchise.

Resident Evil: Revelations will be launched in May on the PlayStation 3, the Wii U, the Xbox 360 and the PC.
